Tsleem mobile app — Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Tsleem mobile application for Android and
iOS (package com.protagksa.fieldops). The marketing website is covered
separately.

The short version
Tsleem is an employer-issued work tool. There is no public sign-up: your account is created by your organisation. The app collects only what a field inspection needs — who you are, the photos you take, and (if you allow it) where the work was done. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with advertisers, and there is no advertising ID, no tracking pixel and no third-party analytics inside the app.
Who is responsible for your data
Your employer — the organisation that issued your account — decides what data is collected and why. They are the data controller. Protag KSA operates Tsleem on their behalf as the data processor, and does not use your data for any purpose of its own.
This matters for your rights: requests to access, correct or delete work records are decided by your employer. See Deleting your data below.

The app does not collect contacts, calendar, messages, call logs, browsing history, audio, financial or health data, files or documents, or an advertising identifier.
Automated photo checks
If your organisation has enabled it, a photo you attach may be assessed automatically to judge whether it matches the question being answered. The photo and the question text are sent to Anthropic for that assessment and are not used to train any model. The resulting verdict is stored with the checklist and is visible to your supervisor. A verdict is advisory: a person always makes the final decision.
Who your data is shared with
Your data is visible to authorised people within your own organisation. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. It is handled by these service providers on our behalf, under contract:
- Google Cloud Platform — hosting and file storage
- Google Firebase — push notifications and crash reporting
- Anthropic — automated photo checks, where your organisation has enabled that feature
How it is protected and how long it is kept
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Sign-in tokens are held in the device’s encrypted storage. Work records are retained for as long as your organisation’s account remains active, and are deleted when they instruct us to delete them or when the account closes.
Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the Middle East (Dammam, Saudi Arabia) region.
Deleting your data and your account
Accounts cannot be created inside the app, and for the same reason they cannot be deleted inside it — your account belongs to your employer.
To request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it, contact your organisation’s Tsleem administrator, or email privacy@tsleemksa.com from your work address. We action verified requests within 30 days.
Note that completed inspection records may be retained by your employer as a business record even after your personal account is removed, where they are required to keep them.
Your rights
Under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) — and the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK — you may ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to privacy@tsleemksa.com. If we act as processor for your employer, we will pass the request to them and support them in answering it.
Children
Tsleem is a workplace tool intended for adults in employment. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles your data we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will also be announced to your organisation’s administrators.
